Dalgakiran EBHV-FC Series

Dalgakiran EBHV-FC chillers are built in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System and are delivered on set ready for installation. The refrigeration unit is filled with freon and is tested at the factory. It is related to the field of industrial use and has a high safety margin.
All equipment components comply with the existing European Union directives on safety and environmental friendliness:

General Information

Chassis of the unit made from steel sheet iron and it’s designed in special construction for able to carry weights on it. Frame and covers of the unit made from galvanized steel sheet and it’s painted with electrostatic powder paint.

Semi-hermetic screw compressor operating on R 407 C refrigerant. The compressor is equipped with shut-off valves on the discharge and suction, a check valve on the discharge line, oil line (oil level switch, sight glass, oil separator, oil filter), crankcase heater, vibration dampers, motor protection and temperature sensors. Power supply 3ph/ 400V/ 50Hz.

Air cooled condensers are manufactured by copper tubes and aluminum fins. Current overload protected, high efficient direct drive axial fans which have noiseless bearing are mounted on the Unit to provide condensation of the refrigerant. Condensers can be manufactured with epoxy coated fins on request.

Shell-tube type, specially designed for cooling water and glycol solutions, easy to maintain and clean out of contamination thanks to a removable tube block. The evaporator complies with EN 14276-1 and EN 13445 standards and is designed for cooling water and glycol solutions. The evaporator is covered with a special heat-insulating material to keep the cold.

It has an IP54 electrical protection. The panel consists of two parts, power one and control one. The power section has contactors, switches, and network protection devices. The control section has a microprocessor and a screen. The control panel complies with the EN 60204-1 standard. The required power supply is 3 phases, 400 V, 50 Hz.

The device uses a microprocessor control system. The system monitors and displays input and output liquid temperatures and ambient temperature. Suction and discharge refrigerant pressure, compressor running time, all system errors or alarms, history log.
The microprocessor control system decides which modules (compressor and/ or free cooling ones) are active depending on the ambient temperature and the required output water temperature. The running time of each compressor is adjusted to ensure the best unit efficiency.

For reliable and automatic operation, the unit is equipped with a TEV, filter drier, sight glass with indicator, safety valve, low/ high pressure switch, shut-off valves.

The adiabatic cooling system is integrated into the compressor cooling module of the unit and operates during the summer season. This system intermittently sprays water from special nozzles onto a non-metallic mesh. The sprayed water performs the adiabatic cooling effect when air is drawn into the condenser. Thus, the temperature of the air drawn in by the condenser lowers, which allows the unit to operate with a low condensing pressure. This reduces the power consumption of the unit.

The free cooling (free cooling) operating principle is based on the direct use of the cold outside air during the autumn-winter period of the year. For this, the system is supplemented with a section with a cooling circuit with an anti-freeze liquid (ethylene or propylene glycol aqueous solution). For greater efficiency, this solution is blown by a direct drive axial fan. The free cooling section allows to reduce the operating time of the compressor, which is the main consumer of electricity in the cooling system, and thereby significantly increases its efficiency. Chillers with the Free Cooling function save up to 60% of electrical power per year, depending on the ambient temperature. The payback period is 1-1.5 years.
